Offerings

Everyday Mindfulness: a program for schools, non-profit businesses, or private groups, meant to offer an initial orientation to the simple practice of presence in each moment. In this six-week session, I offer an experiential, praxis-based method that invites participants to show up for life, with a sense of curiosity about the movements of the mind and body and without judgment. This program incorporates a daily practice including sitting meditation, gentle yoga, and a guided body scan. I invite students to commit to a daily practice time during the six weeks, and I offer a weekly group or individual session in which we delve deeply into the practices together, process issues that come up, and support each other in the practice. These sessions can be helpful to people at all levels of engagement with yoga and meditation, including people brand new to the idea of mindfulness and people suffering from stress, anxiety, pain, or illness.

Private Yoga Instruction: One on one instruction. Consider a series of private sessions if you are new to yoga and want to take a few private lessons before joining a group class, or you have an established practice but want to work more deeply on alignment, the use of props, how to work with particular stages of life (menopause, existential crises, peri/postnatal), if you have recently suffered illness and are repairing the body after chemotherapy or surgery, or if you suffer from an autoimmune disease.
